Build the four home piles from Ace through King in the same suit. Build the seven columns in descending order, alternating red and black. Only a King or a valid sequence starting with a King can fill an empty column.
Plan draws one card with 15 seconds and two hold spaces. Rush draws up to five with 10 seconds; after picking a Rush card, place it within 4 seconds. Picking it again does not restart that deadline.
Tap Plan, Rush, or the deck once to draw. Tap again whenever you want a fresh batch: the unplayed falling cards return in order, then new cards appear. The deck uses the current mode. Cards already placed or held stay where they are.
The number beneath the deck counts cards still in rotation, including the current falling cards. Placing or holding a card removes it from that count. Missed cards return to the bottom in order; drawing again does not add duplicate cards.
Drag to place, or flick toward a clear legal destination. In new practice rounds, a close drop beside one clear legal target can snap into place. A drop directly on an illegal card is still rejected; if more than one destination is plausible, aim more precisely. A missed drop returns a falling card to its position with its original time remaining. If its time has expired, it returns to the deck. A Plan card grabbed before its falling timer expires can still be placed while held. Rush's four-second placement deadline still applies.
One tap home: tap an eligible exposed column card, held card or falling Rush card to send it to its matching home pile. That pile must be ready for the card. If you already have a card selected, tapping a legal column destination places your selected card first.
Plan holds: double-tap a falling Plan card other than an Ace to save it in an empty hold. A Plan Ace goes home with one tap when legal. To send another falling Plan card home, drag it to its home pile or select it and tap that pile.
Double-tap a King to try a legal home move or empty column. Double-tap a held card to try a legal column move when it cannot go home. Cards never skip the normal placement rules.
In new practice rounds, Undo reverses only your latest successful draw, placement or hold, once. If you place a card and then draw, Undo takes back the draw and leaves that placement alone. Another successful draw, placement or hold unlocks Undo again; invalid moves and mode changes do not. The match clock and original card deadlines keep running. Older recovered rounds and existing tournaments may use the earlier placement-only rule; check the in-game guide for your round.
Open How to play on the main menu for the animated guide. Settings offers four card designs, sound, music, reduced motion, larger menu text and card-size choices. Card-design and size changes have a preview and separate Save and Cancel actions.
Local practice awards 100 points for each card home and 10 points for each hidden card uncovered. A full clear adds 10 points per second remaining, including fractions of a second. Finishing early without clearing all 52 cards keeps your progress points but adds no time bonus. Undo reverses the progress from the move it takes back.
Practice scores are not currency or prizes. For Skillz competition, check the rules shown for your tournament. Its scoring format may differ from practice; the Skillz result determines its winner.
After a competitive round finishes, RoyalClutch saves and submits the score. Skillz shows the opponent comparison and any pending result. If the score was accepted but its screen could not open, View results retries opening it without submitting the score again.
In new practice rounds, after a successful placement or hold, RoyalClutch checks for an empty deck, no hidden column cards and a legal sequence that sends every remaining card home. If all three conditions are met before time runs out, it completes the board and stops the clock immediately. The card animation does not use your remaining time or reduce your bonus. An empty deck alone does not count as a win. Older recovered rounds and existing Skillz tournaments keep their earlier rules.
